HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!

Adri got lucky this year...she got to celebrate her birthday on 3 different days!

Day 1: a trip to build a bear with the family and dinner at her 2nd favorite restaurant (because there are no Pizza King's in Indianapolis and we couldn't wait to get back to Pendleton to eat dinner) Applebees it was...fries and ribs for the birthday girl!

Day 2: a birthday party at home with the Mamaws and Papaws!

In the Martin house, you get to wear your favorite outfit on your birthday (and on the day of your party if they're not the same day)! No shoes, a pink shirt, tutu and a flower hair bow!

Her cake request was easy this year. "I wanna strawberry cake with pink icing, my name, and purple dots. And the ice cream that comes from milk." She thinks I know magic because I make ice cream from milk. Any chance we get to make homemade ice cream, we do!

This is how you sleep after you've celebrated your 3rd birthday! And after you have a sugar crash from eating 3 pieces of cake!

Day 3 (her actual birthday): stay home and play in our jammies all day! My kind of day, too, kid!

So far, today has gone something like this...wake up early (5:30) because Adri is super excited about blueberry pancakes, eat pancakes, watch The Little Mermaid, color, draw, play a new Super Why game, take a 4 hour nap, eat pudding and bananas, watch The Little Mermaid again, and then hopefully take a bath and go to bed after dinner!

Happy birthday to my littlest Houdini! I love you like crazy!
