Per my kids request, they thought this post should be in Piper's words...
The Martin's picked me up last Thursday at my Mom and Dad's house and I'm not sure why we haven't been back. Truth is...I'm starting to like it here! This place is quite different than my first house. Here are a few things that I've noticed about my new place...
1. These little people are ALWAYS in my business! They pick me up all the time and are always running around. The littlest one NEVER sits still and NEVER stops talking. I have no idea what she's saying half the time, but nevertheless, her mouth is always moving! I've been sleeping for the entire night in my crate without making a peep because I'm so darn tired! They're exhausting!
2. The top dog around here is Keely. She's a strange one, too. Funny how she doesn't mind to share her food or toys with the little people but SHE WILL NOT SHARE WITH ME! She growls at me when I start to chew on shoes or jump on the couch and the big people say she's doing her job, but lay off, will ya? Grumpy old lady...unless she lets me snuggle with her :)
3. Cats have these weird things on their feet that are just like thorns! The orange cat really likes me and he often initiates playtime. However, the one they call Sassy, wants nothing to do with me and as the littlest persons says, "She's a Moody Judy."
4. Everyone gets super crazy when I potty and poop outside, but the people go inside...what's that about?
5. They put this weird thing around my neck and it itches sometimes. The oldest boy says it means that I now belong to a family, but it still itches. They sometimes hook this long stringy thing to it and I either drag it behind me or they hold the other end and make me go where they want...I'm fighting that one! I don't like being told where to walk or play.
6. There's nothing better than the evenings when the little people go to bed. It's quiet and the big people sit and pet me and snuggle.
7. The little people call the big people Mom and Dad...maybe I'll start calling them that, too!
