Thanksgiving weekend has come to an end and believe it or not, I don’t think I had the camera out once! Wow! That’s a first!
The only picture I have to share is one that my sister in law took on Friday. It doesn’t seem like very long ago that a littler Ashley was always on my heels and tagging along wherever Matt and I went…and now she’s a Mommy! Welcome to the world, Sophia Blair. Your Mommy and Daddy have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and your Great Aunt Amanda loves you very much. Welcome to this big, crazy, but ever so loving, family!
Nate said the other day, "Why do we need a holiday to celebrate what we're thankful for? Shouldn't we just be thankful all of the time?" He's smart beyond his years, right? So, because my little Nate reminded me and in honor of the newest family member, Sophia, I'm thankful for my wonderful, growing, loving, and always there for me, family. My prayer today is that every single one of you never doubts how special you are!

And now, I can finally put up a Christmas picture! The kids decorated their own tree (last weekend) with all of our Wizard of Oz ornaments. It was a favorite movie of mine as a kid and people haven't forgotten that. It seems that every Christmas I am given, as a gift, at least one Wizard of Oz ornament! They were very proud of their work...and yes, Gabe is in his underwear!

More Christmas pics to come, as we have a lot of fun activities planned these next few weeks! I may even be able to get the kids next to the tree in the living room...or better yet...all 5 of us!
