We've been driving around town a lot, hoping to find a 'FOR RENT' sign in the yard of a home that looks like it would be a good place to live for the next few months. When we're not rental hunting, I've been very intentional about not saying, "Don't get those toys out" or "Don't make a mess in case someone calls about seeing the house." My mom came over last night and as soon as she walked into the living room, she said, "What happened in here?" Things have to be REALLY out of order for my mom to say something about my housekeeping habits! We've just been playing a lot! Strangely, this disorderliness of the living room hasn't bothered me too bad...in fact, it's actually a relief. For the past 10 months I've had this house in tip top shape almost every second. Although selling the house is exciting, it's actually a little more of a relief that my kids can actually play with their toys again! Shortly after getting the offer, Nate said, "Can we get the train table out of the attic now that people won't be looking at our house anymore? That's my favorite toy." It's been in the middle of the living room floor since that week!
Enjoy the photo's...
